It's hilarious how GLaDOS is always making comments about how fat Chell is even though she's not fat at all lmao

The chord progression in this song literally makes my eyes well up with tears 100% of the time I hear it. Still alive might be more beloved because it was the first and such a unique addition to a unique game, but this song is the BEST.

This feels less like a “fuck you,” And more like someone desperately trying to cover up their hurt and loneliness with a “fuck you.” The voice is so tender and broken, except when it firms up for the sarcastic insults, but those feel shallow, with no bite, and the rest are more tender than hurtful. There’s such a pervasive sense of melancholy in the piece that I can’t take it as an insult, only someone desperately trying to push out a piece of their own heart so they don’t have to feel the pain it brings, and failing miserably in the process. And that, even if they don’t know it, this is a big mistake. Anyway, that’s just my two cents (don’t go very far, inflation sucks).
